New Year’s in East London is intrinsically linked to E1’s birthday celebration, a tradition that began with the club's marathon 27-hour launch party.

New Year’s in East London is intrinsically linked to E1’s birthday celebration, a tradition that began with the club's marathon 27-hour launch party. This annual landmark event serves as a demonstration of the venue’s institutional strength, confirming its status as a "recognised institute" at the heart of the capital’s dance scene.

The upcoming E1⁷ 7th Birthday run (2025/2026) is set to be the biggest yet, strategically programmed across multiple nights to showcase the full spectrum of global techno and house music. The celebration kicks off with the high-energy E1⁷ NYE on December 31, 2025, featuring acclaimed artists like Sosa, Fleur Shore, and Kidoo.

However, the real journey begins in the new year. E1 demonstrates its commitment to cutting-edge sounds by hosting Blackworks invites 999999999 on January 2, 2026 , tapping into the surging global demand for high-tempo, hard techno. The celebratory weekend then reaches its conclusion with a purist favorite: Pan-Pot All Night Long (The Grand Closing) on January 3, 2026. This decision to conclude with a deep, single-artist extended set reinforces E1’s operational dedication to the authentic, journey-based experience that defines quality electronic music. The E1⁷ series is a powerful testament to the club’s longevity, world-class booking power, and its continued role in shaping London's electronic music culture.
